Dr. Elena Ruggeri graduated in Biotechnologies Applied to Veterinary Sciences at the University of Milan. She obtained a PhD from the University of Colorado, discussing a thesis on Equine Reproduction, under the guidance of Prof. Elaine Carnevale. She then joined the Rinaudo Lab at the Center for Reproductive Sciences, University of California San Francisco as a postdoc where she conducted research focused on the effects of environmental inputs on embryo development, using murine in vivo and in vitro models.

She is now appointed as embryologist at the IVF Center of the Ob/Gyn Department of the University of California San Francisco.
Dr Ruggeri will present unpublished results obtained during her postdoc in a seminar entitled 'Epigenetic and transcriptional changes in murine inner cell mass (ICM) generated in vivo and in vitro’ that will be held on Tue, 14/05/2019 9.30-10.30 Aula 2, via Celoria 10, Milano.
