ReDBioLab hosts Patrycja Kurowska with the lecture “The role of visfatin in the regulation of early embryogenesis in mice”. Appointment on October 20, 2025

Dr. Patrycja Kurowska, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Zoology and Biomedical Research, Laboratory of Physiology and Toxicology of Reproduction, Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland). She specializes in reproductive biology, with a particular focus on adipokines, neuropeptides, and their regulatory roles in ovarian and embryonic physiology. Dr. Kurowska has extensive international research experience gained through multiple internships in France, Japan, and the USA, and she serves as Principal Investigator on several national and international grants. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, received multiple awards for scientific excellence, and is actively involved in academic teaching, student supervision, and scientific outreach.
