The Reproductive and Developmental Biology Laboratory’s mission is to improve the knowledge in the fields of reproductive sciences and developmental biology. This objective is pursued primarily by conducting basic and translational research in a collaborative, interdisciplinary, and international environment where transparency and diversity are highly valued.
The research activities are conducted cooperatively between senior scientists, junior researchers, and students trained through experience. The research outputs are disseminated within the scientific community and to the primary beneficiaries of technological innovation, mainly the medical and animal science community.
Given the impact that scientific knowledge in reproduction and developmental biology may have on everyday life, we actively engage in educational activities for the public to raise awareness of the scientific process and technological innovations.
