Biosketch

Alessandra Mascaro is a postgraduate volunteer attendant. Her studies focus on in vitro reproductive technologies, and in particular on cryopreservation and 3D systems. She currently attends the Second-Level Post-graduate Master in Reproductive Biology and Biotechnology at University of Pavia. She obtained her Master’s degree in Veterinary Biotechnological Sciences and Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Milan. Her Master’s thesis focused on the oxidative status and embryo development of cat vitrified oocytes treated with melatonin. Her Bachelor’s thesis, instead, was about the intracytoplasmic injection of domestic cat’s vitrified epididymal spermatozoa.
