Biosketch

Fernanda Fagali Franchi earned her degree in Biology and her Master and Ph.D. degrees in Pharmacology and Biotechnology from the São Paulo State University, Brazil, working with basic and applied research in the biotechnology of animal reproduction, mainly focused on oocyte and embryo development. She then joined the University of Milan, Italy, to conduct a post-doc investigating the impact of energetic imbalance on preimplantation embryos. Recently, she has been enrolled in the InfinitEGG project to work on the exploitation of female reproductive potential in mammals through the culture of oocytes from early antral follicles.
