Biosketch

Dr. Sai Kamal Nag is a PhD student with a Master of Science in Human Assisted Reproductive Technologies, a Master of Science in Human Genetics, and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics. He has extensive experience in ART, having worked as an IVF Lab Manager and Consultant Embryologist. His previous research experience includes the derivation of uterine Natural Killer cells from peripheral blood, the study of gene polymorphism and ovarian cancer risk, and the study of sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) variants in ovarian cancer. He is currently studying the interplay between Ca2+ waves and ROS in the developing embryo as well as the contribution of the maternal tissue to Ca2+ waves and ROS state during preimplantation development working under the guidance of Prof. Valentina Lodde.
